Welcome Donna Wresinski!
Donna is honored to be joining the Eventide family as the new Executive Artistic Director. As a seasoned theatre educator, administrator and arts advocate, Donna has over 25 years of experience bringing live theatre to audiences in Massachusetts. Her directing and producing experience spans community, regional, and educational stages. As an arts advocate and artistic director, Donna has worked with state agencies, state and local legislators, and school and community leaders to bring the best of live theatre to our audiences.
Donna has an undergraduate degree in Liberal Arts from Framingham State University, a Masters Degree in Education with a concentration in Arts/Learning, and an Arts Administration Certificate from Worcester State College.
Donna has directed hundreds of productions including Les Miserable, Mary Poppins, Urinetown, Pippin, A Chorus Line, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and just about every Rodgers and Hammerstein musical ever written. In addition to musicals some of Donna’s favorite directorial experiences include, The Laramie Project, The Crucible, To Kill a Mockingbird and most recently a one night performance of 9/11 – A Bystander to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the events of September 11, 2001.
Donna and her husband Michael, a local Cape Cod performer, live in Mashpee with their best friend Chowder.
