Eventide Theatre Company (ETC), Director, Steve Ross and Music Director, Pamela Wannie, invite you to attend auditions for the 3 time Tony Award winning musical, Next To Normal, an emotional and deeply moving powerhouse that provides a wonderful opportunity for performers to explore dramatic material and showcase vocal talents with an energetic pop/rock score.

With book and lyrics by Brian Yorkey and music by Tom Kitt, Next to Normal explores how one suburban family copes with crisis and mental illness. Dad is an architect while Mom rushes to pack lunches and pour cereal. The daughter and son are bright, wise-cracking teens appearing to be a typical family. Yet their lives are anything but typical because Mom has been battling bipolar disorder for 16 years. Next to Normal takes audiences into the minds and souls of each character, presenting their family’s story with love, sympathy, heart and truth.
