Eventide 2010 Songfest Winner

The 2010 Songfest Finalist Concert/Winners Announcement event was held on on Sunday, June 6th, and was once again a huge success. We had an overflow crowd to cheer on the Finalists who came to share their wonderful songs with us, and a spirit of community and good will pervaded the room.

Greg Greenway, one of our judges, was in attendance and opened the show with words of encouragement for the attendees, and a performance of one of his own songs. He also provided invaluable help in getting each of the performers set up on stage. Thanks from all of us, Greg!

Following the performances, awards were given out, and - for the second year in a row - the Noel Tipton Grand Prize was won by Emily Brady and Steve Lindberg for their song, "You Are You".

Thanks again to all those who entered songs this year (we had 60 entries, by the way). We're already looking ahead to Songfest 2011, and will have entry information and details up on our website in the early part of 2011. Until then, write some great songs!
